Nikola Meeuwsen, piano

Nikola Meeuwsen was born in Holland in 2002 and studied with Marlies van Gent and Enrico Pace at the famous Accademia Pianistica di Imola. In addition he regularly attends master classes with renowned pianists like Pavel Gililov and Matti Raekallio.
In 2019 he was awarded the “Concertgebouw Young Talent Award”. In 2012 he won the “Steinway Competition” and in 2014 the “Royal Concertgebouw Competition”.
Nikola Meeuwsen plays concerts at home and abroad. He has performed as a soloist many times with the Residentie Orkest in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. In addition he has given solo recitals in Italy, Portugal and Holland. His chamber music partners include the Matangi Quartet, the violinist Alexander Kerr and the violist Vladimir Mendelssohn. He is invited to renowned festivals and the international chamber music festival Ede. The “Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation” (NMF) has lent Nikola a piano.
