Eloy Pérez Llavata, Trumpet

Eloy Pérez Llavata was born in 2002 in Spain and was given trumpet lessons as a young student at the Musikhochschule and Conservatorium in Valencia. Since 2021 he has been studying with Prof. Höfs at the Musikhochschule Hamburg. He has attended master classes with Gabor Tarkövi, Principal Trumpet of the Berlin Philharmonic and Raúl Junquera, Principal Trumpet of the Orchestra Valencia. At the age of thirteen he won first prize at the international youth competition “Ciutat de Llíria” in Spain. One year later he won second prizes in the Spanish Youth Competitions “Villa de Castellnovo” and “La Llosa de Ranes”. In 2019 and 2021 Eloy was a member of the “Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra” and in 2021 in the “European Youth Orchestra Academy”. In 2021/22 he was a member of the academy of the Hamburg Symphoniker. In 2022 he was given a temporary contract as Principal Trumpet of the Philhamonisches Orchester Hagen. At the moment he has a temporary contract with the SWR Sinfonieorchester in Stuttgart.
