Anna Naomi Schultsz, violin

Anna Naomi Schultsz was born in Basle in 2004 and already at the age of two received violin lessons from her mother. When she was six she was given external lessons. At an early age she was given a scholarship by the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and she is given regular lessons there. At the moment Anna is a young student of Prof. Julia Fischer at the Munich Musikhochschule.
Anna has won prizes at national and international competitions. In 2018 she won first prize at the Dutch Violin Competition “lordens B”. At the age of nine she performed for the first time as a soloist with orchestra in Basle. She has played the Bruch, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn and Saint-Saens violin concertos with renowned orchestras. Since 2019 she has been the leader of the Gstaad Festival Youth Orchestra. She is a welcome guest at festivals like the Gstaad Menuhin Festival where in 2022 she was given the title of “Jeune étoile”.
