Séphora Foucher de la Fuente, harp

Séphora Foucher de la Fuente, born in 2001 in Tours, France, began playing the harp at the age of eight and completed her pre-college studies at the Conservatory of Tours with the highest honors. Since 2019, she has been studying at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Xavier de Maistre and Anaëlle Tourret, principal harpist of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra.

Séphora is active both as a soloist and as an orchestral musician. Starting with the 2024/2025 season, she is a member of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra Academy and performs with international youth orchestras such as the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Orchestra. She has received numerous awards in competitions, including first prize at the Concours Français de la Harpe in 2020 and at the competition of the Association of Harpists in Germany in 2021. Since 2023, she has been a scholarship holder of Live Music Now Hamburg.
