Anouchka Hack, violoncello

Anouchka Hack, born in 1996 in Antwerp and awarded Best Emerging Cellist at the Verbier Festival, brings the stage to life both as a soloist and in a duo with her sister, pianist Katharina Hack. Her current engagements include solo performances with the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn and the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, duo recitals as part of the “Rising Stars” series at the Stadtcasino Basel, the Beethoven House in Bonn, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and live on The Violin Channel, as well as solo recitals.
Her duo album Alle Menschen werden Schwestern, released in 2024 in collaboration with Deutschlandfunk, appeared on the Berlin Classics label. In chamber music, she performs with artists such as Tabea Zimmermann, Viviane Hagner, and Gautier Capuçon (at venues including Wigmore Hall and the Philharmonie de Paris). Tours have taken her to Taiwan and Korea.
Anouchka studied at, among other institutions, the Kronberg Academy with Frans Helmerson. She plays a Bartolomeo Tassini cello from Venice (1769), on loan as a scholarship recipient of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
