Andrii Paliarush, clarinet

Scholarship holder since 2023

Andrii Paliarush was born in 2002 in the Ukraine and received his first clarinet lessons at the age of eight. Shortly afterwards he became a young student at the Glière Academy of Music in Kiew where in 2021 he took his Junior Specialist Final Exam. Since 2021 Andrii Paliarush has been studying in the class of Prof. Nicola Jürgensen at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen.
He has won first prizes in Ukrainian and international competitions. In addition he is the principal clarinetist in the National Youth Orchestra of the Ukraine.
He has performed as a soloist with the National Radio Orchestra of the Ukraine and the National Chamber Orchestra of the Ukraine.
He has performed in the Ukraine and Germany above all in chamber music ensembles.
In 2022 he reached the finale of the international competition of the “YAMAHA Europe Music Foundation”.
