Salvatore Alessandro Miceli, Saxophone

Salvatore Alessandro Miceli, born in 2000 in Palermo, is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Classical Saxophone at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris. He previously studied at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali in Caltanissetta. He then continued his training in France at PESMD in Bordeaux, where he obtained the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM) in Classical and Contemporary Saxophone. Further studies took him to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. He graduated from all programs with highest honors.
Salvatore is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the Concours International de Meylan in 2024, the Aeolus Wind Competition in 2022, and the Roma Tre Orchestra Competition in 2021.
He performs internationally as a soloist with orchestra, in duo with piano, and in various chamber music ensembles. As a soloist, he has appeared with the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France at the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra as part of the Aeolus Competition. In addition, he is a sought-after guest at renowned festivals and concert series throughout Europe.
Salvatore has participated in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Jean-Marie Londeix, Mario Marzi, and Nicolas Arsenijevic.
