The South Korean pianist Seunghui Kim, born in 1999, is currently pursuing her Master’s degree with Björn Lehmann in Berlin. She made her orchestral debut at the age of ten. She received her training at the Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, as well as at Seoul National University under Aviram Reichert.

Seunghui Kim is a prizewinner of numerous major national competitions and has also achieved success internationally. In 2016, she won first prize at the Hong Kong International Piano Competition and third prize at the 1st Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition in Poland. In 2023, she reached the semifinals of the International Clara Haskil Piano Competition.

As a soloist, she has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Mostly Philharmonic Orchestra. Most recently, she participated in the Music and Academy Meeting in the Spanish city of Santander, where she performed both as a soloist and in chamber music alongside Zakhar Bron, Frans Helmerson, and Isabel Charisius.

She further refined her training in numerous masterclasses with distinguished pianists such as Ian Hobson, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, and Ralf Gothóni.
